Everything must be named, or else it loses its shape. Every morning, Vanja names her clothes: shoes, pants, shirt. Buildings are labeled and named when citizens walk past. Yet when Vanja arrives in one of the other colonies of her planet, she discovers that there might be secrets she has never been told, waiting to be discovered. Amatka is a book that could easily be read in one sitting, and the world is well-developed in an effortless manner.
