When the king dies, murdered with a strange poison, his oldest son is imprisoned in a tower. He must find a way to escape, because he is one of the few who knows that the true murderer is Flagg, an evil wizard who is now the new king’s advisor.
One of the great things about tales is how fast time may pass when not much of note is happening. Real life is never that way, and it is probably a good thing.
